The Shape of Nearness is a twenty-track fantasy art-pop album by Vesperglass, with each song shaped by a different elven lineage and its own way of understanding intimacy. Across desert roads, moonlit harbors, hidden passages, crystal chambers, storms, rituals, dreams, and impossible spaces, the album explores longing, trust, desire, freedom, and the choices that draw two people closer.

Rather than treating fantasy as decoration, each lineage becomes its own emotional language: distance becomes navigation, secrecy becomes vulnerability, ritual becomes consent, and magic becomes a way of expressing what ordinary words cannot.
